Letter #13
It's Friday the 13th and I don't believe in the whole superstition. It's almost time to present my presidential nomination speech and I think it's going well. I hope I win so that I can know many more people and experience what it's like to be a club president. I'm hoping that the new responsibilities will allow me to grow in to a better person. That's my ultimate goal in life: to be the most interesting man on earth.

Letter #12
I'm sorry for missing the last two posts. But let's get right down to it.
I have applied to be an TA as well as a president of a club I'm in. As Michelangelo said,
"The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark."
I am aiming high so that I will be able to reach out to as many people as I can and meet you. I don't know when I'll see you but I will make my club and my life the best I can to be worthy.

Letter #11:
I applied to be the president of one of my clubs. I was thinking about doing it but i wasn't really sure if I should. Interestingly enough many of my seniors told me that I should try running for it anyway. This reminds me of a quote by George S. Patton:
"A man must know his destiny. If a man does not recognize his destiny then he is lost. By this I mean once, twice, at the very most three times fate will tap the man on the shoulder. If he as the imagination then he will turn around and fate will point out which fork in the road to take. If he has the guts he will take it."
I hope that I will know when you tap me on the shoulder and turn around and I hope that I will have the guts to be with you.

Letter #10:
I heard of this "GPS" guide by Hoan Do and I wanted to start on it. For me my GPS would be:
Goal: You
Purpose: Because You are the one that makes the world beautiful.
Strategy: Everything and Anything
That is the summary of my GPS for you and this blog.

Letter #9
Today I was listening to my ipod and these songs came up: I'll Be There (Michael Jackson), I Want You Back(Michael Jackson), You Make My Dreams Come True (Hall and Oats), and Kiss From A Rose (Seal). Now I think that my favorite out of them is You Make My Dreams Come True because it's more hopeful and lively. The phrase "I'll never be the same" in the song is what I dream of when I meet you. I have to go to a conference now but next time I'll elaborate more.
I think Robert Frost said it best:
"Love is the irresistible desire to be desired irresistibly."

Letter #8:
I guess now I realize what puppy love means. When I see people I always think of a background story for them to make things interesting. I think of their backstory and imagine what it would be to be friends with them. When I meet a friend or someone I like I try to go through the same motions so that I'll meet them again and say hi. I yearn to meet people and I look for people I know so we can connect again. I guess that's puppy love. Waiting full of hope for people you recognize and were waiting for.

Letter #7
I'm studying for my test right now and it seems to me that for me I have the most motivation in studying/preparation when I'm doing it for someone I love. When I went back to Korea over the summer I memorized the names of all my cousins that I haven't seen for years and some I haven't seen ever. When I meet you I will make sure that I know you so that I could love you even more. It sounds a bit creepy and a bit serial killer-ish but that's the truth. I want to please you and I'll do anything.
This reminds me that I need to understand you if I want to be with you:
Love is strong yet delicate.
It can be broken.
To truly love is to understand this.
To be in love is to respect this.
